South American Gold and Copper Company Limited Announces a New Director
Toronto, Ontario, Canada - South American Gold and Copper Company
(the “Company” or (“SAGC”) (TSX-SAG) announced
the election of Mr. Richard Lachcik as a Director and Secretary of
the Company.
Mr. Lachcik is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Victoria College
and Queens University, Faculty of Law and holds a Bachelor of Law
Degree. He was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1983.
Since 1998 Mr. Lachcik 00has been a partner with Macleod Dixon LLP,
Toronto, Canada, with emphasis on securities, mining and corporate
law. Mr. Lachcik is a director of several other TSX listed companies.
Stephen W. Houghton, Chief Executive Officer stated that Richard Lachcik
is a welcome and important addition to the Company’s Board of
Directors.
